At Great Chart we currently only have Cubs and Beavers, Beavers endeavour to cover all the requirements of the Bronze Scout Award as well as many Staged and Activity badges. We offer a varied, interesting and fun programme, getting the children outside as much as possible in the summer term. We often meet at Great Chart Playing Fields as well as the Warren in Ashford. We hike around Godinton House and take part in Community deeds such as litter picking. We canoe in Hythe and once a year camp outside in tents. 

Cubs endeavour to cover all the requirements of the Silver Scout Award as well as many Activity badges. We offer a varied and interesting programme, getting the children outside as much as possible in the summer term. We organise visits to Lower Grange Farm, the Singleton Environment Centre, the Warren, Great Chart Playing Fields, Hothfield Common and Conningbrook Lakes to broaden the Cubs’ experience. We also try to take the Cubs camping at least once a year.

Cubs (8-10 y/o)

Friday 6:30 - 8:00
