Beavers at Hobby Craft

We had 21 Beavers between 7th Ashford St. Mary's and 1st Ruckinge and Hamstreet have a go at using tissue paper, black card and sticky backed plastic to create this Christmas tree. The Beaver Creative badge is supported by Hobbycraft who kindly gave the materials towards this creation. It also covered a section of the Teamwork Challenge badge which is to work with other Beavers to make something or complete a challenge/activity together The Skills Challenge badge as they completed a creative activity.
The idea came about after a similar activity making a poppy for Remembrance Day. The 7th Ashford Beavers wanted to have a go at a Christmas design and so the idea grew into this tree. Both Colonies worked at their respective meetings and then with thanks to Winter at 1st Ruckinge and Hamstreet who put all the parts together.
