Welcome to 1st Brabourne & Smeeth Scout Group
At 1st Brabourne & Smeeth Scouts, we're proud to have served our community for over 50 years. We offer young people aged 6-18 the chance to experience traditional Scouting at its best - from camping and fire lighting to navigation and bushcraft.
What We Offer
Based at our well-equipped Scout Hut on the doorstep of the Kent Downs, we're perfectly placed for outdoor adventure and hands-on learning. We offer regular camping opportunities and activity days where Scouts are able to develop traditional Scouting skills.
Our young but experienced leadership team brings energy, enthusiasm, and and a wide range of expertise. One of our Leaders has recently achieved their Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award and another has received the Kent Scout's Youth Shaped Award for exceptional services to Ashford Scouting. Together, we create a supportive environment where every Scout can develop, gain confidence, and learn skills for life.

Cubs (Ages 8-10)
Tuesdays - 5:30 - 6:45 PM
Scouts (Ages 10-14)
Mondays - 7:30 - 09:00 PM
Explorers (Ages 14-18)
Fridays - 7:30 - 09:15 PM
