Welcome to the newest section in the Scouting family tree. Squirrels is where the youngest members take their first steps into the world of Scouting, becoming our very own local Superheroes in training.

The Squirrels programme has been designed to keep the youngest minds engaged, help develop confidence, creativity, and social skills, while introducing basic Scouting values like friendship, kindness, and helping other people.

Every week our Squirrel dreys gather to play games and try new activities. From arts and crafts to discovering the outdoors, we focus on early development and having fun. Led by our caring volunteers that spend their time creating the engaging programme that will help the Squirrels gain their badges from activity badges, to stage badges, finally leading to the completion of challenge badges that will have them earning their Chief Scout Acorn award the highest award a Squirrel can earn.

Whether your child is naturally outgoing or a little shy, there's a place for everyone in our Squirrels family.
